Best Farming Pals in Palworld
Produces ranch goods such as wool, eggs, milk and honey when assigned to a ranch. 29 of the 299 Pals can do this job, and the highest innate level among them is 4.
Why Farming matters
The only route to several ingredients you cannot gather in the world, including the milk and eggs that Cake needs for breeding.
Innate is not the same as final. The levels below are innate: what a Pal has before you touch it. Since the 1.0 release the ceiling is 10, and ranking a Pal up at a Pal Essence Condenser raises one of its work suitability levels, so a Pal that starts lower can be pushed past one that starts higher.
This job's name in the game data is Farming.
A note on the count. This page counts all 299 entries in the breeding data, which is 85 variant forms and 11 collaboration Pals above the 287 entry Paldeck total Pocketpair publishes. Lists that count Paldeck slots instead will land a few below 29 for this job. Neither number is wrong; they are answers to different questions.
Farming is the job where the innate figure is most misleading. The highest innate level here is 4, well under the 10 ceiling, so a ranch worker has more room to be raised at a condenser than this table suggests on its own.
2 Pals start at level 4: Dumud Gild, Sibelyx Primo. A higher level does not simply mean faster; it also decides whether a Pal can use the higher tier stations at all, so an underlevelled worker can leave a building idle rather than merely slow.
Worth checking the last column before you commit: 0 of these never appear in the wild, so they have to be bred or won from a fight. If you want one of those, run the pair through the breeding calculator first.
