Track your Great Vault from your phone

Yes, you can check the Great Vault from your phone without the game. VaultAlts reads every character on your Battle.net account through Blizzard's official API and shows all nine slots, raid, Mythic+ and world, with what each slot still needs and six weeks of history, free on iOS, Android and the web. No app can show the items inside the vault, because the API does not publish them.
The moments you actually wonder about the vault (at work, on the bus, before bed) are exactly when the game is not running. That gap is what this page, and the app, are about.

Is there a Great Vault app?
There is no official one. Blizzard's WoW Companion App never showed the Great Vault at all and was retired on with The War Within pre-patch; the Battle.net app has no character data. Of the fan made apps on the App Store and Google Play on , VaultAlts is the one whose listing describes the vault for every character on the account, and Guild HQ (iOS) shows it for one main. The rest of the companion apps still live in 2026 do not mention the vault.
How a phone can read your vault without the game
The Great Vault itself is not in Blizzard's API. What the API does publish per character is enough to rebuild the progress bars: the keystone profile lists this week's Mythic+ runs, the encounter data lists which raid bosses you have killed, and the completed quests list shows the weekly activities that feed the world row. VaultAlts pulls those three feeds for every character on your account, counts them against the season's thresholds and draws the nine slots. A character syncs again when you open the app and its data is over an hour old, or at once with Sync now.

What the phone can and cannot show
- Shown: how many of the nine slots each character has unlocked, how many bosses, dungeons or activities the next slot still needs, the cheapest way to close it, and the last six weeks of unlocked slots per character.
- Shown: a reminder 24 hours and 6 hours before your region's reset, naming the alt with the cheapest slot left, if you turn it on.
- Not shown, by any app: the items the vault offers. Blizzard's API has no field for them, so the only place to see the actual reward choices is the vault in game.
- Not shown: Classic, Hardcore and Anniversary characters. VaultAlts reads the retail profile API only.
Frequently asked questions
Can an app show which items are in my Great Vault?
No. Blizzard's API publishes your Mythic+ runs, raid kills and completed quests, not the vault's reward choices. Any app, VaultAlts included, can show how many slots you have unlocked and what the next one needs, but the items themselves are visible only in game.
Does the Great Vault app work on Android and iPhone?
Yes. VaultAlts is on Google Play and the App Store, last updated on August 24, 2026 on both, and the same roster and vault view also work on the web at vaultalts.com after you sign in.
Why does the app show fewer Mythic+ runs than the game?
Because it counts dungeons, not runs: one per dungeon with a keystone run this week, from the API's keystone profile. Running the same dungeon twice, or a Heroic or Timewalking dungeon, adds to the in game row but not to the app's count.
Does it need my Battle.net password?
No. You log in on Blizzard's own page and the app receives a read only token for your characters. Your password never reaches VaultAlts, and you can revoke the access under Connections at account.battle.net.
