Great Vault Tracker: never miss a weekly reward

A Great Vault tracker keeps every character's nine slots on one screen and tells you which alt is closest to another slot. VaultAlts does this for the whole account from Blizzard's API: raid bosses, dungeon count and world activities per character, the next threshold each row needs, six weeks of history and a reminder before reset, free on iOS, Android and the web.
The game shows one vault at a time, on the character you are logged into. With four or more alts that is the problem this page solves.

Which alt should I play tonight?
The tracker's job is to answer that in one look. Take an example roster on the evening before reset, with the three rows read for each character:

Alt A and Alt D each gain a slot from a single run; Alt C needs three. The tracker does that arithmetic for every character after each sync, so the decision is made before you log in. What the tracker shows for each character
- Nine slots, drawn from the season's thresholds: 2, 4 and 6 raid bosses, 1, 4 and 8 dungeons, 2, 4 and 8 world activities, with how many of each the next slot still needs.
- This week's keys: the best run in each dungeon, its level and whether it was timed, from the character's keystone profile.
- Raid bosses killed since the reset, counted against a snapshot taken just before each reset, so a Normal kill repeated on Heroic is not counted twice.
- A weekly quest checklist for Midnight Season 2, ticked from the character's completed quests (the list is below).
- Six weeks of history per character, and a reminder 24 hours and 6 hours before your region's reset naming the alt with the cheapest slot left, if you turn it on.
What it cannot show. The items inside the vault: Blizzard's API does not publish them, so no app can. Where each of the three rows comes from and how exact each one is, including the estimated world row, is laid out on track your Great Vault from your phone.
The Season 2 weekly quests it ticks off
Blizzard's API has no field for the vault's world row, so VaultAlts counts the weekly quests the API reports as completed. These are the Midnight Season 2 weeklies it looks for, verified against Wowhead's quest pages, id by id, on :

Housewarming is account wide, so the tracker counts it once across the roster instead of asking every alt for it. The full reset day order, with these quests in it, is on the WoW weekly checklist.
Frequently asked questions
Which characters does a Great Vault tracker show?
VaultAlts shows every character on your Battle.net account in one region, on any realm, after one login on Blizzard's page. It reads the retail profile API only, so Classic, Hardcore and Anniversary characters do not appear.
Do I have to keep the game open for the tracker to work?
No. It reads Blizzard's API, so it works on a phone or in a browser with the game closed. A character syncs again when you open the app and its data is more than an hour old, or at once with Sync now.
Does it count my Mythic+ runs automatically?
Yes, from the keystone profile the API publishes: one per dungeon with a keystone run this week. A dungeon run twice, and Heroic or Timewalking runs, count in the game's vault but not in the tracker's dungeon count.
Can I see last week's vault?
Yes. Each character keeps six weeks of history showing how many slots were unlocked each week, so you can see which alt keeps finishing one run short.
