Is there a WoW Armory app? What replaced it

No. Blizzard ended support for the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app on July 11, 2018 and folded its features into the WoW Companion App, which was itself retired on July 23, 2024. The Armory still exists as a website at worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com and works in a phone browser. For a native app, fan made lookup apps such as the VaultAlts character lookup, WoWSkill and Mythic Codex read the same public Blizzard API the Armory does.

What happened to the WoW Mobile Armory app?
It was retired in two steps, six years apart. First Blizzard ended the Mobile Armory itself in 2018 and moved its search, achievements and guild chat into the Companion App. Then the Companion App was retired in 2024, taking those features with it. The dates below come from Blizzard's own announcements and the Warcraft Wiki.

Where the WoW Armory lives now
On the web. Blizzard's character profiles, still titled WoW Armory, sit on worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com behind the search box at the top of the site, with the region (US, EU, KR or TW) in the address. A profile shows equipped gear and stats, achievements, PvE progress and PvP for one character at a time, and it renders fine in a phone browser; there is simply no app wrapper for it anymore, and searching the App Store or Google Play for "WoW Armory" returns unrelated apps.
EU Armory, US Armory. Same site, one address per region. A character on an EU realm is found under the EU Armory and will not appear in a US search, which is the most common reason a name "cannot be found". Fan made lookup apps make you choose the region for the same reason.

None of these is by Blizzard. Each reads the public Blizzard API, the same source as the Armory website, and each was checked on the stores on .

What none of them can do is what the 2009 app could: bid on auctions or chat with your guild. The API those features used no longer exists outside the game. Is there a WoW Armory app for Android?
Not from Blizzard; the Mobile Armory left Google Play in 2018 and the Companion App in 2024. On Android today, WoWSkill and Mythic Codex look up characters by name, and VaultAlts shows your own roster with a lookup built in. The Armory website itself works in Chrome on a phone.
Is there a WoW Armory app for iPhone?
Not from Blizzard. On iOS, WoWSkill looks up any EU or US character, Guild HQ covers guild rosters, Arena Armory covers Burning Crusade Anniversary realms, and VaultAlts shows your own characters with a lookup built in.
Is the EU Armory a different app?
No. The Armory is one website with a region in the address; EU characters are found under the EU Armory and US characters under the US one. There is no app for either region.
When was the WoW Mobile Armory discontinued?
Blizzard announced on June 22, 2018 that support would end on July 11, 2018. Its features moved into the WoW Companion App on August 13, 2018, and that app was retired on July 23, 2024.
